Questions
- What is the cheapest way to post clothes in the UK?
- For most single items in a mailing bag, an InPost locker-to-locker label is the cheapest option here, followed by Evri to a ParcelShop. A thin, light item can go cheaper still as a Royal Mail Large Letter if it is under 2.5cm thick.
- Do I need to pay postage when I sell on Vinted?
- Usually not. Vinted buyers pay for postage and you get a prepaid label. This comparison matters when you sell on eBay or Depop with free postage, or post things yourself.
- Why is my parcel too big for a Large Letter?
- A Royal Mail Large Letter has to be under 35.3 × 25 × 2.5cm. A folded hoodie or jeans in a bag is usually thicker than 2.5cm, so it goes as a Small Parcel instead.
- Are locker deliveries OK for eBay buyers?
- Locker-to-locker means the buyer collects from an InPost locker. Some buyers expect delivery to the door, so check what your listing promised before choosing it.
